Dear Fellow Author/Illustrator - Let’s Celebrate Taking The Small Steps

Dear fellow author/illustrator, I’m here to encourage you.

Growing your skills in both writing and illustration is a journey that unfolds day by day, piece by piec

It's amazing how swiftly a day passes, and sometimes the progress I make in perfecting my craft feels tiny. But I tackle each task, refine each skill, and embrace each class with a smile on my face and joy in my heart..

I want to encourage you to dream big and accomplish the big by building small, consistent writing and illustrating steps into your life on a daily basis.

Sometimes, we think that big things can only happen if we do big actions or make big changes. But actually, small things that we do every day can have a really big impact over time.

It's like when you're building a tower with blocks. If you put one block on top of another every day, even though it seems like a small step, after a while, you'll have a really tall tower!

On the other hand, we tend to think that we can do a lot more in a year than we actually can. We might have big plans and think we can do everything, but it's important to remember that it takes time and effort to achieve our goals.

Stay encouraged to celebrate those taking daily (or weekly) small steps.By taking small steps every day, we can make a big difference over time, even if it doesn't seem like much at first.

Be encouraged to celebrate the small things because of the cumulative impact you will make with your stories and illustration pieces is huge!

Signed: Latarsha Lytle, your encouraging writer/illustrator bestie!
