The Must-Follow SVS Podcast/YouTube Channel for Emerging Illustrators

Dear Fellow Budding Illustrator,

As a budding children's book illustrator, I find inspiration and guidance from the School of Visual Storytelling.

Led by experienced illustrators Lee White, Will Terry, and Jake Parker, this YouTube channel and podcast are like having three incredible mentors at my fingertips.

They discuss current illustration topics, share strategies, and provide solid advice for building a thriving illustration career.

Their podcast is engaging and informative, with a roundtable format where they answer listener questions and talk about the latest happenings in the industry. Sometimes they agree, and sometimes they disagree, but one thing is certain – every time I listen, I learn something new and gain a fresh perspective on my illustrations.

In addition to their podcast, I've also subscribed to their classes and taken their Children's Book Pro course. They have become an invaluable part of my personal mentorship team, elevating the way I see my illustrations.

I encourage you to make time in your day to listen to them, absorb their advice, and enjoy their banter. Every time I hear them, it feels like a warm illustration hug, and I appreciate the effort they put into ensuring their audience succeeds on our illustrator career journey.
